Here is part one of a two part jam I recorded back in August of 2009. Ill post the second part in a day or so. I’v been really wanting to spend more time recording and actually trying to create music but been too busy with work and what not. I hope to at least get something new recorded and posted some time this month. Enjoy.

Here is one I recorded when I first got my mixer (back in early 08) and was playing around with the preset FXs, I really liked this delay echo and I had a lot of fun recording this one. Enjoy.

I have been editing a little more of my old music again, here is an oldie from 6/9/08. I love playing in open tuning, it produces such a big sound. The song is a bit too loud and fuzzy but I had fun playing it. Enjoy.

I’ve been editing a lot of my old music lately turning it into mp3’s so that I can stop wondering what’s in all those old recordings. I’m about half way done or so, they way I record makes it complicated to edit. Usually when I get in the mood to record I have very little prepare. Then I start up garage band and let it record as I jam for an hour or so. These recordings are long and difficult to edit, as they are mostly just non-sense. Lately I’v been trying to jam beforehand to get warmed up with something in-mind and then record; this has produce far greater results. The song above is an example of the latter. I thought it had a bit of a cathy tune so I thought I’d post it.

Levi, Jordan, and myself took it upon ourselves to have a jam session over Thanksgiving break this past year, and this was the out come. We recored around three hours nonstop and afterwards I went back and edited it all up into 30 ‘songs’ lasting about an hour. This song is one of my favorites from the whole jam session. Levi and myself are on guitars and our good friend Jordan did quite well as a first time drummer, on a children’s mini drum set, no less. He also did a fantastic job improvising lyrics for several songs, all of which are very funny. You can download the jam session as a .zip here.
