Young Stones - Blind Man’s Colour
I can’t get enough of this song, the way it flows is so perfect, the part where it goes ‘I’m young again’ and pauses and then kicks back in is so amazing. The guitar rift at the end makes the song. I would like to thank Jordan for reintroducing them to me, Levi had showed me the MPP covers and I enjoyed them but didn’t think about them much. Listening to those covers again I am amazed, they take the songs in a new direction yet fully retain their integrity as an Animal Collective song. I hope they make it big, I want them to enter into the scene and make a huge impact on people, but for now I will enjoy this hidden gem. Check their blog. There is a lot of random things that are on their blog but find the 4 track EP, and you can find a few other songs around the web: Jimmy Dove, The Warm Current’s Pull, and We’re Treehouse Kids! are the best not on the EP.
